How does overtime pay work in Alberta?

You may have been there before: Your boss asks you to stay and work some extra hours, but you're never told how you're going to be compensated. You end up doing it for the same pay rate or without being paid at all, just because you don't want to contradict your boss. This is not fair to you in many cases, and you need to know your rights when it comes to overtime pay.

The structure of Canada's court system

Anyone in Alberta who is considering moving forward with a court case or an appeal should know exactly how the courts are structured and how cases will move through various courts. The whole legal process is sometimes a bit overwhelming if you've never gone through it before, so this information can be very helpful and can put you at ease.
